Between Auvergne and Languedoc-Roussillon, the Stevenson or GR70 road links the south of the Massif Central to the deep Cevennes. This path is a hiking route from Puy-en-Velay to Saint-Jean-du-Gard or even Alès. You will leave in the footsteps of Robert Louis Stevenson by the vast volcanic plateaus of Velay, the highlands of Gévaudan, to cross then Mount Lozère then the crests and valleys of the Cevennes.
